We are currently seeking an experienced attorney to join our Litigation practice. This position focuses primarily on commercial collections, real estate litigation, mechanic’s liens, foreclosures, evictions, and other related creditor remedies. The ideal candidate will be comfortable managing a full caseload and be able to handle matters from demand through judgment and post-judgment remedies.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a high-volume of matters from initial demand through litigation, judgment, and post-judgment remedies (including garnishments, levies, and other enforcement actions)
- Handle real estate litigation matters, including foreclosure-related proceedings and mechanic’s lien actions
- Draft and review pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses, settlement agreements, and other litigation documents
- Conduct legal research and develop case strategy
- Appear in court for hearings and trials
- Negotiate payment arrangements and settlements with opposing counsel and unrepresented parties
- Maintain consistent and proactive communication with clients regarding case status
- Accurately track deadlines, court requirements, and file progression to ensure compliance and efficiency
Qualifications:
- Licensed and in good standing to practice law in Minnesota
- Minimum of two years of litigation experience (experience in collections, real estate litigation, and/or creditor’s rights is preferred)
- Demonstrates ability to independently manage a high-volume caseload while maintaining accuracy
- Strong negotiation skills and sound strategic judgment
- Professional and confident courtroom presence
- Exceptional organizational and time-management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat
